My father has multiple myeloma and a Purple Heart Veteran after serving in Vietnam. I went to college and even received a Masters Degree after which I worked in mental health and served a multitude of different populations. At the age of 35 I walked into the hospital with what I thought was a really bad sinus infection and was in there for 10 weeks coming out, paralyzed below the waist. The journey is extremely complicated, but I had quite a bit of neurological damage done in a short amount of time and six years later I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis although I was placed on permanent disability right away so that should tell you quite a bit about the extensive damage. Now at age 45, I am terrified at the benefits that my father could lose through Social Security, The Pact Act, and what I could lose through Social Security disability, which I will be on for the rest of my life. I am praying for you and if I could support you in your ongoing journey I promise I would. It baffles me how America could allow one man to threaten the livelihood and safety of so many people but here we are. You stay strong and vigilant. 🙏🏼 you’ve got this.💙
Good on you and best wishes. Unfortunately I cannot support you. I already support three charities and being on a superannuation pension below the median income I cannot stretch to support another.
