Thanks to my wonderful friends and readers, I’ve managed to beat my personal fundraising target for Fred’s Big Run. I’ve also done my bit for TV and radio publicity which, I hope, brought in extra funds.
But with less than a week to go, I’m about $700 short of my $1500 target for the Brisbane to Gold Coast Ride against cancer. I know it’s a bit on ask raising money for two causes at once, so it’s time to liven things up with a gimmick.
From now until Friday, anyone who donates $100 or more can nominate a topic, and I will promise to write about it, shared on my various media. If you like the idea but are short of cash, just give what you can and mention that you would still like to nominate something.
