Shifting to Substack

Hi everyone,
I’ve decided to switch my mailing list from Mailchimp to Substack. I’m hoping this will be an improvement. Mailchimp is mostly set up with marketers in mind. Substack is more oriented towards blog-style opinion pieces, and has produced something of a renaissance in blogging, even if the term isn’t used so much.
Among the improvements, this should allow comments - I love getting comments.
This is mainly a test email to see if the new service works as I’ve been promised. Feel free to ignore it, but it would be great if some of you could respond, either just to acknowledge receipt or to say something about the change

Works for me
Hope the new system works for you. It initially indicated that I already have an account, which I wasn't aware of. I'm in now, but the process has been obscure. I took a few minutes to get an email from Substack to log in with.
